I run my private practice from consulting rooms in Hebden Bridge, Calderdale and Burnley, east Lancashire. 
I specialise in working with people who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, workplace/school or personal relationship issues, bereavement, loss and low self-esteem. I offer a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their fears and feelings whilst encouraging them to take responsibility for their own well-being.
I work in a person-centred way and am also qualified in Online Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and trained in therapeutic play. I also specialise in working with primary school children and young people. My other specialisms include counselling further and higher education students, people who have experienced domestic abuse, NHS patients and online clients of all ages. I also offer counselling supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists.
I hold an enhanced DBS (CRB) clearance, which means that I am police-checked to work with children as well as adults.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and Counselling Children and Young People and abide by their Ethical Framework. I am also an Associate Member of the British Association of Play Therapists.
I am committed to continuing my professional development through ongoing training, so that my clients can be assured of a safe, ethical and professional therapeutic service.
